Amrita Prakash is a known face since childhood. She has been working from the age of 5. She played child artist in various television serials. She made her cinematic debut at the age of 15 by appearing in the Hindi film called Tum Bin. In 2004, she appeared in a Malayalam movie called Manjupoloru Penkutty. The movie dealt with the issue of child abuse and Amrita’s performance in the film won her a lot of appreciation. She played lead actress Amrita Rao’s younger sister’s role in Rajshree Productions film called Viva. Her role of Chhoti was well received. After this, she again played lead actress Isha Kopikar’s younger role in Rajshree production’s next film called Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi in 2010. She was last seen in the Hindi film called Na Jaane Kabse in 2011.
Besides the silver screen, she has also been highly active with her small-screen projects. She started her small screen acting career by appearing in Fox Kids from 1999-2004. Since then, she has appeared in over 25 television shows. Besides performing, she has also served as an anchor in shows like Kya Masti Kya Dhoom and Jhoome Naache Gayein.
