Later she moved into the cinema career and showcased her dancing skills. She even recorded her vocals for a Punjabi film Goreyan Nu Daffa Karo. In that movie, she got to work with such an amazing singer like Amrinder Gill. Amrit got featured in a British-Asian film called Amar, Akbar & Tony. The movie featuring her was released in the United Kingdom. She also got the chance to act alongside Indian actress Sandhya Mridul, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Sarah-Jae Dias, and Anushka Manchanda. Recently, she joined the Channel 4 soap opera, Hollyoaks. She is playing Neeta Kaur who is a regular character in the Nightingale family.
